Attend annual conferences for EDUCAUSE and the Council for Christian Colleges and Universities’ (CCCU) Conference on Technology.  Also, every other year, I attend the conference of the Association for Educational Communication and Technology (AECT).

Member of: EDUCAUSE, MiCTA, AECT.

Familiarity with K-12 Curriculum Framework and MEAP Asssessment

Primary interest in state and national standards for technology.

Special Awards and Recognition

Chair of CCCU Commission on Technology.

Member of Midwest Higher Education Commission Technology Council (appointed by governor of Michigan).

Co-Chair the Middleware Planning Group for the Michigan Colleges Foundation (MCF) in a joint project with the University of Michigan.

Chair the MCF/UofM School of Information Course Development Team.

Recent Presentation at CCCU Technology Conference.

Two research projects in process regarding faculty use of Blackboard in support of face-to-face instruction (articles pending)).

Chapter in upcoming book, Keeping the Concept.

Just finished final year of two pilot grant projects, funding faculty development and faculty communication among K-12 teachers across Jackson County.
