The undergraduate program in Dearborn is a cohort-based accelerated program for students who already hold a bachelor's degree. These students must complete all coursework for a major or two minors that are certifiable according to the list of majors and minors offered at the main campus. The courses can come from one or more community colleges or four-year institutions but must be approved by the Regsitrar's Office. Students in each cohort must fulfill this requirement as well as pass the appropriate tests (basic skills and subject area) prior to entering the School of Education (SOE). All coursework for a social studies major is offered at the Dearborn site or online for the convenience of students.
