  Master of Arts Communication Computer Literacy Test  
 

 

 

 

This test is one of several steps required in the application process. To successfully participate in Spring Arbor University’s Masters of Arts in Communication online program, you will need to possess basic computer literacy skills. The activities listed below will test your ability to carry out tasks similar to what you will be required to perform in your online courses.

Activity 1: Download and Open the LiteracyTest.rtf file.

 
  Activity 2:  Enter your name and email address in bold and italic in the Name/Email answer area in LiteracyTest.rtf.

 
  Activity 3: Download and Open the rtftest.rtf file and copy and paste the first line into the Copy/Paste test area of the LiteracyTest.rtf you downloaded in Activity 1.

 
 

 

 


Activity 4
: Copy or Save this image and insert it into the Graphic Paste answer area in LiteracyTest.rtf.

 
  Activity 5: Save LiteracyTest.rtf as a Rich Text Format (RTF) file under the name "Literacy_firstname_lastname.rtf", substituting your first and lastname in the appropriate part of the filename.

 
  Activity 6: Email the file as an attachment to bminier@arbor.edu with the subject "MACOM literacy test"
