| Clifford G. Christians. Clifford G. Christians is a research professor of communications at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, and also a Professor of Journalism and of Media Studies. He has a B.A. in classics, a B.D. and Th.M. in theology, an M.A. in sociolinguistics from the University of Southern California, and a Ph.D. in communications from the University of Illinois. He has been a visiting scholar in philosophical ethics at Princeton University and in social ethics at the University of Chicago, and a PEW scholar at Oxford University. He is a co-author of Responsibility in Mass Communication, Jacques Ellul: Interpretative Essays, Good News: Social Ethics and the Press, Communication Ethics and Universal Values, and Moral Engagement in Public Life: Theorists for Contemporary Ethics. Kim Rotzoll. Kim Rotzoll served as Dean of the College of Communications, Professor of Advertising, and Research Professor in the Institute of Communications Research at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He held a B.A. in advertising, an M.A. in journalism, and a Ph.D. in sociology from the Pennsylvania State University. He was co-author of Advertising in Contemporary Society, Advertising Theory and Practice, and Last Rights/Revisiting Four Theories of the Press, and editor of Is There Any Hope for Advertising? The author of a number of journal and professional articles, monographs, and papers, he had been president of the American Academy of Advertising and served on the board of directors of the Illinois Press Association. | Mark Fackler.
Mark Fackler is Professor of Communications at Calvin College, Grand Rapids, Michigan. He holds an A.B. in philosophy, and M.A. in communications, an M.A. in theology, and a Ph.D. in communications from the University of Illinois. He has recently been a Hoover Fellow at the European Center for Ethics in Leuven, Belgium, and a guest lecturer in press ethics at Makerere University, Kampala. Kathy Brittain McKee is Associate Provost and Professor of Communication at Berry College, Rome, Georgia. She is co-author of Applied Public Relations and has published journal articles and book chapters in media ethics, visual imagery, communication pedagogy, and student-press regulation. Robert Woods is Associate Professor of Communication at Spring Arbor University, Spring Arbor, Michigan, where he teaches media ethics and research at the undergraduate and graduate levels. He has a B.A. in communication from the University of New Mexico and an M.A. in communication and Ph.D. in communication from Regent University, Virginia. He also holds a J.D. (Juris Doctor) from Regent University and is licensed to practice law in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
