Services for Off-Campus Students

  • MOD Theses-copies of selected MOD theses are bound and available in the library. These may be checked out for one month. Theses can be requested by contacting the External Services Librarian, Stephanie Davis at 1-800-968-9103, ext. 1435. You may also search for theses through the SAU WebCat. When searching, limit your search to the item type, AE Thesis. The item type option is located at the bottom of the Complex Search screen. After selecting the item type, then insert your search term in the main search screen and click the search catalog button. Theses are irreplaceable so please be responsible and return them in a timely manner.

  • Research Assistance-Librarians provide assistance with research problems by phone or by e-mail throughout the year. Students are encouraged to do as much as possible locally and to have a clear idea of what materials you need. Librarians will not do the research for you, but can get you started and provide guidance and assistance. Don't hesitate to contact us.

  • Michicard-All SAU students, staff and faculty may check out print materials from over 365 public and academic libraries throughout Michigan. A MichiCard sticker applied to a valid SAU ID or a plastic MichiCard will serve as the statewide library card. A list of participating libraries is available at each SAU Center.

  • CLEP/DANTE/TECEP Test Information-Students taking these exams may request study material. Contact Angie Hiler for assistance, ahiler@arbor.edu/1-800-968-9103, 1439
